Hi! I'm Mel. I have a BSc from McGill University in Computer Science and Biology, with a minor in Chemistry. I used to work at the Perepichka Lab synthesizing organic semiconductors and other charge transfer complexes. I like writing Rust, Zig, and Haskell.

I was the second author on Vanishing Electronic Band Gap in Two-Dimensional Hydrogen-Bonded Organic Frameworks. Chemistry of Materials 34 (7), 3461-3467 (DOI: 10.1021/acs.chemmater.2c00294). Featured in π-Conjugated Materials: Here, There, and Everywhere (Chem. Mater. 2023, 35, 4, 1467-1469).
